Common problems we deal with for home users are:

Slow computer: The most common complaint we get, but there's a lot we can do to help.

Virus problems or out of control anti-virus software: Faulty updates, multiple scans, or simply scans running at bad times of the day can all bring a PC to a standstill. Actually having a virus can be even worse still.

Internet connection and wireless issues: Wireless can sometimes leave you tearing your hair out. We've seen it all before and can probably save a lot of swearing and frustration.

Upgrades: DVD writer, memory, graphics etc.

Email problems: 553 errors, won't send, asks for username and password....

Home networking: Print and share files between computers. People often don't realise you can do this at home.

Loose laptop power connector: If you have to hold the power cable at a funny angle to get it to runs on mains power, you're most likely to find that the connector inside has come un-soldered from the motherboard. Unfortunately it's a common problem, sometimes caused by the cable being restrained while the laptop is picked up, but occasionally the joints simply fatigue. It's completely fixable for a lot less than a new laptop will cost you.

PS3 laser replacement: If it won't read games the Blu-Ray laser may have died. If your console is out of warranty we can replace the laser for much less than the cost of a whole new console.
